Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

Account data: name and email from Google sign-in when you create an account.

Usage data: pages visited and features used.

AI prompts: questions and instructions you send to our AI assistant, along with the response returned, are logged so we can debug issues, monitor quality, prevent abuse, and improve the product. Logs are tied to your account but are not used to identify you publicly.

Portfolio data: if you upload a MeroShare CSV, the stock symbols and quantities are processed locally in your browser and are not sent to our servers unless you opt in to cloud sync.

Device data: browser type, OS, and IP address for security and analytics.

2. How we use it

To operate and improve the Service.

To generate personalized AI signals for your watchlist and portfolio.

To communicate important account or product updates.

For anonymous analytics and research to make the Service better.

3. What we don’t do

We do not sell your personal data.

We do not share your watchlist or portfolio with other users.

We do not store passwords — all authentication is via Google OAuth.

4. Third-party services

Google Sign-In: for authentication.

Analytics: anonymized page-view and event data may be processed by standard analytics providers.

AI providers: questions you send to our AI assistant are forwarded to one or more third-party large language model (LLM) providers for processing. The provider can change over time as we evaluate models for quality, cost, and availability — current providers may include Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, or other comparable services. We do not attach your name, email, or other directly identifying information to these requests, and each provider handles the data under its own privacy and data-retention terms.

Your prompts and the resulting AI responses are not used to train third-party models beyond what the provider’s standard API terms allow, and we do not sell prompt content to anyone.

5. Cookies and local storage

We use localStorage to remember your watchlist, portfolio uploads, tier, and daily credit usage — all stored in your browser.

Essential cookies are used for login sessions only.

6. Your rights

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the settings page.

You can export your watchlist and portfolio data as CSV.
